Why this comparison exists

In most areas a Swiss business cannot use German or international software. Swissdec payroll reporting, VAT accounting, the QR invoice, the Swiss chart of accounts, data location: the local particulars are too many, and they are not trimmings but the core. For precisely this market a good comparison is missing, and transparency is thin. Gathering here means: read the vendor page, note the price, add the date, and where nothing is stated, write "not established" instead of an estimate. That is why this site shows gaps where others claim completeness.

Comparison prices instead of list prices

Prices are the hardest thing to compare. One vendor puts up a cheap base package and sells half of it as paid add-ons, the next names an all-inclusive price and looks dearer at first, while often ending up the cheaper one. Hence the comparison prices: 5 sample businesses, defined once and for all, from Side business to Established AG, calculated for every vendor with the same scope and the same volumes. Only then do two offers rest on the same basis. For lack of time I cannot establish these comparison prices for every category.

How this is funded and why it stays neutral

I take no money from vendors. No paid placements, no commissions, no sponsored entries, and there is no ordering that could be bought. The site is carried by BERNCON GmbH. We build custom software - applications that do not exist as finished products - and we compete with none of the products compared here.
